Best Perianal Disease Specialist in Hyderabad
Piles or Haemorrhoides is a condition where there is prolapse of the blood vessels of the anorectum. Primarily there are 3 pile masses –one on the left and two on the right. Prolapse occurs when there is loss of muscle tone or as a result of constipation. Previously we used to do a standard haemorrhodectomy, which was a painful condition. Now I do a Staler Haemorrhoidectomy which has minimal pain. In this procedure a disposable stapler is used to cut and staple the rectum internally,so that normal blood supply is preserved and the pile masses are excised in toto.

The lower part of the anal canal is lined by skin and when the patient passes a hard stool he cuts the skin. This usually heals on its own and rarely requires a procedure- Fissurectomy. The primary treatment is correction of constipation as it can be a recurrent condition
At the junction of the intestinal lining and skin in the anal canal there are a million glands secreting mucus to prevent injury to the skin. During constipation or otherwise fecal contamination of the glands happens with the formation of an Perianal Abscess. This ruptures on its own or a Surgeon drains it. Later some of these patients develop a fistula in ano. I treat small fistulae by a fistulectomy where the whole tract is removed. For Complex Fistulae I do VAAFT- Video assisted Anal fistula treatment. Here a Small endoscope is passed into the fistula and the tract identified and cauterized after closure of the internal opening.
